[RUMOR] "Shadow of the Tomb Raider" new mechanics


Shadow of the Tomb Raider was officially revealed this week, with a spectacular teaser trailer.
In this teaser we certainly have a rapresentation of the actual setting: Mexico.

A gaming association, Game Espana, gives us, among with the game preorder (which will come in September 2018), a list of the new mechanics of the game, here are some:

Lara mimics with the jungle:
- New ways to fight.
- Behaving like a predator.
- Using the foliage and the environment to hide.
- Take advantage over your enemies attacking from the height.

Survival underwater:
- New roads to explore.
- Claustrophobic spaces.
- Natural enemies: piranhas & lack of oxygen.

Woman dominates nature:
- New ways to survive
- Use of the environment against enemies.
- Use the fear of their enemies to make them more vulnerable

We actually don't know if these characteristics are true, but, thinking of the enviornment and the actual place (Mexico), we are keeping an eye on it.

Keep in mind that an actual reveal of SOTTR will come April 27th at Tribeca Film Festival!
